About the Author
Jane was never claimed by her father who beat the whole family for no good reason. Finally, after he abandoned the family, she was given to a twenty-one year old man, for a $10.00 bet her mother had made. She was forced to sleep on her mothers bed with him while her mother was in the next room. He took her out of the state, where she was locked in a two-room apartment and not allowed to look out a window or open the door. She had four children before she was twenty. She woke to find her second baby dead. He threatened to kill the other children if she ever left him. After the fifth child, she told him he would have to kill the kids, because she had to leave.

Honest, intense, incredible, true!

This book is an amazing journey in a young womans life, she has gone through more her first 28 years than most ever go through in an entire lifetime. I happen to know her personally and she is the most amazing, gentle, humble and beautiful woman I know. God has truly transformed her life completely.

Never an Ending -- Jane Erickson -- (Personal review)

I read this book because the author revealed her own life story. I like to read autobiographies, but especially this particular book because even though I did not know her during the youth of her life but have met her at a recent family reunion. I am acquainted with her father -- Jane Erickson being my cousin. Little did I know the "secrets" of the home even though very strong "hints" were given throughout the years. I am grateful that she is now able to reveal her life's story and explain through her pain how she has overcome such experiences and how now she can enjoy her adult life -- even when sharing with others. Only her personal experience with a living God could give her such strength. I have now visited with her brothers and sister who verify every statement of the book. I was stunned to realize that she named the states, cities, and even used the given names of every person mentioned in the book. I now understand her family so much better. I have visited some of her siblings in their own homes and find them dealing yet with the pains of their past but also being able in their adult life having learned to cope with the painful memories of their past. God bless them all.
